We've spent the week getting to know each other through various team building activities and we've talked about the type of classroom environment we want to set up for the year.
Friday was an awesome day with our Team Event. Room 18 are part of Kotare team and we spent the day running relays, playing sports and games, and trying to outdo other members of Kotare team at a pop quiz. The Year 8s are showing manaakitanga to the new Year 7s and the school has a great feel for 2016.
Reminders for parents:
- Notes have gone out this week in regards to BYOD. Please return these agreement forms if your child is planning on bringing a digital device for learning.
- Don't forget school stationery - this can be ordered from the resource room before school.
- Students are encouraged to bring water bottles to school to help them cope with the heat and humidity of our Auckland summer.
