We tried the new lime flavoured chocolate.

Here are a few responses to the new flavour that you either love or hate...

A New Taste.

The small cube of cocoa on its flat base on the table. The engraved writing ‘Whittakers’ shines in the light. The strong scent hits my nose as I split it in half. A booger like substance slowly dribbles out of the cube. It too shines in the light. I pick up a piece and take a bite. The sugar infested cocoa melts in my mouth revealing the green goop. The tacky bitter-sweet slime sticks to my teeth as they shut close. My face scrunches as the minty-lime, thick, gooey inside hits my tongue. I don’t like the taste but it makes me want more. I grab the other half and put it in my mouth.

Flavours

Glossy, smooth, the brown coloured brick-like shape, sat right where it had been placed. The thick brick piece started to melt. The heat from my fingers did it. I picked it up, the heat made me think that it was screaming inside. I could smell the cocoa when I put it to my nose. The sudden mixes of lime, mint and cocoa hits my taste buds. Too fast to think of the favours. I popped the leftovers in my mouth. Slowy feel the smooth, lime, mint flavour fade.

Don’t judge it by it’s cover !!!!!

The ugly thing sits there on its flat bum.

Fingers twitching as it comes closer.

The gate opens.

The horrible thing smells like coffee   

                   I ask it  

“Did you have a coffee this morning“    

But it does not reply.

It just sits there like a ignorant brick.

I think that's rude so I break open its head.

It's gooey brain is as green as summer's grass.

But as I’m chewing it, it’s actually really good. So people, don't judge something by its cover...
